Team Pics
Here are a few, recent pictures of our team members and fans. As you can see… we have fun whether at work or at play! At SKR Rebel Racing, WE BELIEVE that the two are intertwined!

Come join us at the Track at Miller Motorsports Park. You will always find us on race day either in our own pit (Pit 31) or lending a hand to one of our fellow racers! Come join the SKR Rebel Racing family!

We hope you enjoy the pictures. Make sure to bookmark this page and to check back often as we will always be adding new pictures of our Team’s on and off-track activities. To view a larger shot of any of the thumbnail photos… just click on it!

Whew... Now Where is Scott   You Lift it... No You Lift it...

This section of pictures is very special to our team. It carries the entire message of our team in the meaning of the photos. When our Lead Driver and Team Leader, Scott L Ritchie, returned to College to continue work on his studies… not only did he earn Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society Induction, with his 3.70 Grade-Point-Average, he also took the time to grow his hair for four straight years.

Some might ask why? Scott, in fitting with our team’s over-all attitude towards helping others, grew his hair (he normally shaves his head) to a length of 14 inches. He did so in order to donate this hair to the “Locks of Love” program. This very important program provides natural, human hair wigs to children who have lost their hair to cancer treatment and to other genetic anomalies. Rather than wearing a hot and ill-fitting synthetic wig, these children are provided with custom fit wigs made of real human hair.

Although Scott was not too happy with putting up with “a mop of angry hair” on his head for all those years… the cause was definitely worth the effort and sacrifice. SKR Rebel Racing is very proud of Scott for making this generous donation and for allowing us to use the photos that are posted below. Initially, Scott did not want the pictures to be added to our Race Team’s web-site. However, in order to help to show just how far SKR Rebel Racing Team Members will go, to support a worthy cause, he relented and will forever “suffer the humiliation of being seen in pigtails,” as he put it.

Here are the before, during and after pictures from Scott’s donation to the “Locks of Love” program. We hope that you get a smile out of them and also consider donating your own hair to this very worthy cause:

Note: At this time, we are searching for a professional photographer for our web-site, whom would also like to take advantage of the use of the SKR Rebel Racing web-site to advertise and to grow his or her photography business. If you are a Photography or Journalism Major, at one of local Universities or even just starting out as a free-lancer, please contact us and let’s work together to help each other in any and every way that we can.
