Hey All,

Just a quick note to let you know that I just got off the phone with Andre Martins, of Tony Kart USA in Florida. All of the parts we need, in order to complete the repairs to our main Kart, have been shipped and will arrive on Wednesday the 19th. This was excellent news!

Although I am still very sore and look like I have a purplish, greenish, yellowish color skin (thanks to all the bruising) I WILL be back in the seat on Saturday! WE WILL get the Kart repaired and I don't care how bad it hurts... I am going to race!

Our pre-season goal was to finish in the top 10 in points in the Utah State Karting Championship Series. We are still within reach of that goal if I can make some good strong runs and high finishes over the next 3 races. We were so worried that we were going to be forced to take a zero point week, if we could not get everything we needed. However, Andre Martins and Tony Kart, as well as MSquared Kart Racing have really come through for us.

We have a fairly tough track layout coming up. It is called Nemesis and has another Rib-Buster corner. After 60 or so laps of hitting that corner I am not sure how I will be feeling... but I will finish the race!
